Our Story

My name is Jimmy Billiot, and I founded CloudTech Security for one simple reason: to provide businesses in Lafourche Parish with a technology partner who truly understands their world.

For 17 years, I was on the front lines of our region’s most vital industries. As a Purchasing Coordinator at Allied Shipyard and a Lead Dispatcher at Fourchon Heavy Lift, I didn’t just work in an office—I was part of the operational heartbeat of these companies. I’ve managed the multi-million-dollar billing systems, coordinated the complex logistics with vessel captains, and handled the purchase orders for the critical equipment that keeps our port and shipyards running.

During that time, I saw firsthand the challenges our local businesses face. I saw the inefficiencies of legacy systems, the frustration of technology that didn’t fit the workflow, and the growing, often invisible, cybersecurity risks to our critical operational technology. I realized there was a significant gap between generic IT providers and the practical, on-the-ground needs of our industrial community.

I decided to bridge that gap.

I pursued higher education with a singular focus: to combine my deep industry knowledge with the highest level of technical expertise. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing and went on to achieve a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, all while collecting a portfolio of the most respected certifications in the industry.

CloudTech Security is the culmination of this journey. We are a different kind of consultancy because we start with a deep understanding of your business operations and then apply the right technology to solve your specific problems—not the other way around.
